You have created the ideal product brochure: the information is easy to read, the images and graphics fit perfectly, and the end product looks simply fantastic. The document is then translated, and on delivery you are shocked to discover that the headings are far too long, paragraphs are poorly formatted, bulleted lists look strange, and so on. Your graphics department can only provide limited assistance because they don't speak the target language. What now? Just ask eurocom! We have long-standing experience in multilingual DTP. There is probably nothing that our in-house graphic designers haven't seen before – and had to resolve. Be it product brochures, image folders, catalogs, online materials, etc., we layout localized graphics files in all major world languages.

It is, however, preferable to have the files edited and processed accordingly prior to translation. With our practical guides and advice from our graphic designers, we can show you the most efficient way for your graphic design department to carry out DTP in the source language that is suitable for translation. The next step involves a DTP check on our side before the document is translated. Once the translation is complete, our graphics team edits the files and creates final graphics files, from raw layout through to print-ready fine layout and in line with your exact requirements. On request we can also have a local DTP check performed by native speakers of the target language in our graphic design team, to add the finishing touches to the documents. Your product brochure is sure to stand out without a great deal of additional effort, and in all languages!

With the help of an export filter developed by our sister company Kaleidoscope, texts are exported out of layout formats, translated, and automatically imported back into the original layout. All structural and format characteristics of the original document, such as fonts, graphics, and special characters, remain intact in the translated target document.
