Semantic Networks in Technical Documentation

Semantic networks represent a method of structuring information, which can be used to create a metastructure for subjacent applications (DMS, CMS, CRM, ERP, etc.). This, for instance, can be used to enable efficient access to information – an important aspect with regard to technical documentation.

This webinar will cover the basic concepts and demonstrate the most important steps involved in creating a semantic network. The following aspects will be among those explored:

  • What are ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic networks?
  • Which technologies are available and which are required?

In the hands-on part of this webinar, Stefan Gruber-Barowitsch will share with you

  • Useful tools
  • An example of a simple semantic web
  • An example from technical documentation (chat bot)
  • How iiRDS is used in technical documentation

The webinar is free and takes place on November 4, 2021 at 10:00 am.
We will also take time to answer your questions, which you can send to us in advance!
